My Talkswitch over the years

By Linda Torres (TalkSwitch 240vs)

I bought my TalkSwitch several years ago. I ran a small business from home. I love the auto attendant features. During the day I mostly answered the calls, but if I missed one or two...no worries...TalkSwitch got the call and routed the caller to the proper destination. The flexibility of where callers can go...cell phones...direct to voice mail...a group of extensions...or another extension so seamlessly is absolutely amazing. At night, the auto attendant was set to answer immediately, customers were given the option of checking prices for different products with a simple push of the button, and then back to the main menu, there they had the option of leaving a message. I never lost a customer, I never lost a call, I never had hang ups. Customers seemed delighted with the information they were able to access even after hours. There are so many configuration options with this system, I couldn't possibly list them all here. It is the most -flexible- easy- to- configure- easy- to -understand -easy - to- setup -system on the planet. Over the years, I have configured it differently for different uses. These days, it is mostly used as a home system rather than for business. As I look at retirement, I don't see, or can even ever imagine, retiring my TalkSwitch!

Best Purchase Decision I Have Ever Made

By Marty DeMichele (TalkSwitch 240vs)

After weeks of looking for a phone system solution for our small busines locally and being quoted outrages prices, I stumbled upon TalkSwitch on the net. After reviewing features, cost and ease of use against what the local guys wanted to sell me, My Talkswitch system won hands down. We purchased the 24 CA about 5 years ago and couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately we are no longer in business but found a new use for our 24 CA. It is a 2 line 4 extension system that works out Great at home too! With 3 teenagers in the house calls always get routed to the right person causing less aggrevation about who the call is for...even better than using just caller ID.

Hats off to Talkswitch for providing us a dual use system...I highly recommend for business or home use.

President & Broker of Record

By Rick Seligman of SELIGMAN COMMERCIAL Real Estate Corporation (TalkSwitch 240vs)

I have the Talk Switch System and for a small independent Real Estate Company it was the best purchase I have ever made in regards to starting a new business.

By Isaac Kramer (TalkSwitch 840vs)

This system is full of features, easy to setup. It saves me approximately $1500-2000 a year bu reducing the phone use cost and removing the need for man-powered answering service.

Exactly What We Needed

By Ellen (TalkSwitch 840vs)

This is a really good system - it does just what we need, for a very reasonable price. I was able to set it up and configure it myself (with a little help from TalkSwitch Support), and it's been very easy to modify as our needs change. I'm happy I found it.

Awsome product

By Burim (TalkSwitch 840vs)

Talkswitch phone systems do the job of a bigger systems but still leave you with money in your pocket. I have installed many units myself and they have been great. Talkswitch support is also very helpful and always there to give a hand.

Thank you talkswitch for making my job easier.

Great system

By John Faber (TalkSwitch 840vs)

The Talkswitch is very easy to set up and it takes virtually no maintainance. It does everything I need to run two different companies.

The best phone system!!!

By Matthew Powers (TalkSwitch 480vs)

When we started our business in March of 2008 we started looking for a phone system that included voicemail. I had several local companied come out and quote a phone system. Most of the local companies want about double the price I paid for the system and 4 phones. I have recommended this system to a lot of other business owners. My favorite feature is that I can program this phone on my own with no special training. Thanks Talkswitch for such a great product!!!

Rock Solid

By David (TalkSwitch 840vs)

I installed this unit for some "technophobic" customers that didn't even know they needed a small PBX system. THEY LOVE IT!! Its so easy to manage and NEVER EVER has problems. This is the type of equipment I love to deal with - set it and forget it!

Home Builder with Home Office

By Scott Dickson (TalkSwitch 480vs)

I've been a TalkSwitch owner/user since October 2008.

I'm a home builder with a home office. During the day, my truck becomes my office, and my cell phone my communications center for phone calls and e-mail.

There were several reasons I began searching for a phone system:

First, we already had 2 phone lines (1 for voice, 1 for fax). However, often the other members of my family were using the voice line when I needed it. I needed to smoothly be able to use both lines from any location in our home or in my shop.

Second, a department store answering machine didn't provide a professional first impression of my business.

Third, if a call came to our business number after hours, it interrupted our family life.
Using ring tones from AT&T, TalkSwitch scheduling allows after hours calls to not ring while directing them to proper voice mails.

Fourth, if a call came to our office and no one was here, we missed it. TalkSwitch forwards to our cell phones.

Fifth, if we receive a voice mail at the office, TalkSwitch emails us a notification.

Sixth, we were able to use our in-wall phone and computer network wiring to expand and provide an extension for all rooms of our home and my shop. TalkSwitch allows this 'hybrid' of analog and VoIP phones to work seamlessly.

Seventh, music on hold is a convenient way to share our company's accolades with our customers during the brief time calls are routed.

Eighth, I love the call detail report that is automatically produced and email to me daily. A quick scan of it each morning speaks volumes for potential improvements to streamline how we operate.(It is also great to monitor our children's phone use.)

Ninth, I needed to be able to install, program, and maintain it myself. No problem with TalkSwitch.

Tenth, I wanted an affordable investment. I bought a used TalkSwitch 480vs along with four TS-600 and three TS-9133i. Several months later, there was a problem with the TS480vs. Again, TalkSwitch was there with great support; they had to replace the unit at no charge to me!

Would I use TalkSwitch again? You bet!

Do I recommend (and brag) on TalkSwitch? Absolutely!

Very satisfied,
Scott Dickson

Perfect phone system (480 vs and a 240 vs)

By Joshua Kahr (TalkSwitch 840vs)

I've used this system for about three years. It remains the best piece of technology that I've ever bought for my business.

It's easy to use, stable, expandable, etc. and perfect for the non-technical person. Frankly, I don't know what would make it a better system.

Forget about the rest - This 2 line is the best

By Robert Strasser (TalkSwitch 240vs)

Like any small business you start out with one line, one phone. Then 2 lines then, more phones and more lines. Before you know it people are dialing over your calls and picking up the wrong lines. We tried the cheesy phone company multi user voice mail that everyone hated to dial-into to check 10x a day.

Finally fed up with missed calls and confusion we looked around and found TalkSwitch. I downloaded the set-up software first and poked around in it. Thought that it was all too good to be true to find such a full featured, well supported, flexible and reasonably priced system that was so easy to set-up. No kidding, we had it installed in 3 hours, 2 lines 4 analog and 2 IP phones and one year later - cousin, business is a booming!

I can't tell you how cool and professional people think we are to be able to "put you into someones voice mail" vs. take a written message or have cool music on hold, auto attendants, call routing, call transfers, listen to your voice mail from your email. Even if you have one line and one phone. Get the TalkSwitch!! Hands down the best phone system you can buy.

Hosted PBX vs. Talkswitch? The Verdict...

By Colin Stone (TalkSwitch 840vs)

We were torn between buying a Talkswitch system and outsourcing our 800 number to a "hosted PBX" company. We chose Talkswitch. Here's why.

1. We did the math. With our usage, we calculated Talkswitch would pay for itself in less than 3 years. Hosted PBX costs every month, every minute. Forever. It's a bit like buying a house versus renting one.

2. Call quality. Hosted PBX solutions that we tested consistently sounded cheap. In our business, what a caller hears makes or breaks the sale. We can't afford to skimp on sound quality, and Talkswitch's sound quality can't be beat.

3. Service. When we have a question, Talkswitch answers.

We need our phones up and running 24/7, and a hosted PBX solution couldn't promise that.

We chose Talkswitch in 2005, and if asked "would we do it again" the answer would be YES. Other small businesses may have different needs than we do, but in our business, where we need perfect sound quality, reliability, and the best value possible, Talkswitch was our choice. I hope this information helps other companies in their decision-making process.

Sincerely,

Colin Stone

Great System!

By Randy Armbrecht (TalkSwitch 840vs)

We have had the 4 line version of TalkSwitch for over 8 years. This is the best PBX system for the money that we have come across. Packed with features that we use everyday - voice-mail notification, remote extension use, etc! We are looking to upgrade soon to a VoIP system and will no where else but TalSwitch!

PBX Par Perfection

By Kiran Ayyalasomayajula (TalkSwitch 480vs)

The Talkswitch system has been the best investment so far to connect friends and family worldwide. Callers are always amazed at the level of professionalism in getting connected to us. We use it with VoIP and love the quality of voice and the ease of use.

Talkswitch phone system

By Jeff Wustman (TalkSwitch 840vs)

I have owned the two line system for almost 4 years now. In my old business I had a fancy system that cost a bunch of money and took a tech to customize it. The talkswitch system was cheap to buy and is very user friendly. I have had a couple of issues in the programming and the customer support team has talked me through each one. I got to talk with a person on each call. I can highly recommend the phone system. I have personally used it, programmed it and it the communication hub of my small business.

Small Business owner loves talkswitch

By David Peterson (TalkSwitch 480vs)

I am a samll business owner and have had a Talkswitch for over a year now. It has been a cost saving libearting experieince. I only need minor help from a phone guy to get the correct jacks on the wall and some patch cords and I was up and running.

As the enconomy is very tough we were able to use the autoattendent and save $30,000 in payroll! I was able to add many features to my phone system and use different kinds of telephones.

All with the existing wiring.

Love it! Recommend it for any small business that needs a high tech low maintenance phone system. Some of my clients have adopted the system for needs too.

Terrific value

By Jeffrey Fox (TalkSwitch 240vs)

I looked high and low for a simple phone system for a small office that wouldn't break the bank, but had the ease of programming and flexible features I wanted. TalkSwitch is the only one that provided this, and I am very happy with the investment I made. The configuration software is intuitive and easy-to-use, and the documentation is very well-written. I know this sounds like professional ad copy, but I really am just an ordinary small business owner who found a great deal with this purchase. If you have an idea for how you want your phone system to operate but don't want to spend thousands and do want to set it up yourself, I can't think of an alternative to TalkSwitch.
