Remote Extension Transfers

TalkSwitch can handle the transfer of calls to remote extensions in 3 different ways:

Connect with the same line

TalkSwitch can use the same line when forwarding a call to a remote extension. This method can only be used when the line of the incoming call has 3-Way Calling/Conference or Transfer service (Centrex/Plexar).

Connect with another line

If the line does not have any of these services, the call will be forwarded using another line.

Transfer and clear
1.

2.

If you have a Transfer and Clear service on your line(s), TalkSwitch can connect the call (1) and then clear the line (2). This clears the line for use by others.
