TalkSwitch® is exclusively dedicated to the design and manufacture of innovative telephone systems and telephones for the small and multi-location business market.

While small companies with fewer than 20 employees account for approximately 90 per cent of worldwide businesses, traditional telephone manufacturers have generally ignored the unique needs of the segment. Since its founding in 1990, TalkSwitch has recognized the importance of the small businesses segment of the market, and has led the way in developing solutions specifically for those businesses.

TalkSwitch systems are designed to be easy to use. They are meant to be installed, configured and maintained by the end-user, and they are priced to fit small business budgets. They can be used as standalone devices, or on a network and can combine both traditional telephone lines and VoIP services, using analog and/or IP phones. TalkSwitch gives its customers choice. In 2008, TalkSwitch received the illustrious VON Innovator Award for excellence in Internet communication, a designation handed out to only 65 companies worldwide. TalkSwitch was also recognized by the readers of Small Business Computing Magazine and given the award for best business VoIP product in 2008. TalkSwitch is a two-time member of the prestigious Pulver 100 list of companies having the biggest impact on the VoIP industry.

It has been awarded Communications Convergence Magazine's Product of the Year award, Communications Solutions Magazine's Editor's Choice award, Service Provider Weekly's 2005 Product Excellence award, Business Computing Magazine's Top 50 Business Products of 2005 award and IT Weekly's Editor's Choice award.
